This poster was created for Democracy, a new graphic design exhibition forming part of Design Event, the North East's annual design festival.

A dark grey image of a padlock is a powerful visual metaphor for oppression whilst the bright white images of doves within the keyhole represent hope. The layout and type is understated which gives the posters serious message further credibility.

The second poster features a customised font with the letters 'o' interacting as cogs.
